La guerre de Troie, telle que l’on racontée l’Iliade, l’Odyssée ou encore l’Énéide, a nourri la littérature et les arts depuis l’Antiquité. Les littératures de l’imaginaire et les productions audio-visuelles contemporaines puisent dans ce fonds culturel commun, sans toujours avoir une connaissance de première main des épopées d’Homère et de Virgile, mais plutôt d’œuvres-relais qui ont imprimé leur vision de ce conflit légendaire dans la cultu

Luisa Calé (Birkbeck College, University of London), Sibylline Leaves, Sibylline Books, and the Dynamics of the Codex in the Long Eighteenth Century
This paper discusses how the figure of the Sibyl is used to address the relationship between flying manuscript leaves, the typographical layout of the page, and the stability of the codex in British literature and visual culture of the long eighteenth century.
