Ciné-dispositive with An Alternating Current: Aleksandr Rodchenko’s Photomontages for Maiakovskii’s About This
Maiakovskii’s and Rodchenko’s collaborative project About This ("Про это", 1923) is an early example of constructivist “bioscopic book” or, following recent media scholarship, a ciné-dispositive: an alternative cinematic apparatus materialized in the form of photo-book. Film scholar and theoretician Pavle Levi made an initial step in recognizing El Lissitzky’s concept of “bioscopic book” as an example of the re-materialization of the standard cinematographic apparatus, and a model for conceptualizing “cinema by other means.” According to Levi, a specific medium maintains the non-reified form of an apparatus only as a design embodied in technology that enables the reader/spectator to be an active, engaged producer, rather than a passive consumer. As an example of non-reified apparatus, the bioscopic book is often the collaborative creation of a poet and a graphic designer, and therefore always already involves intermedial dialogue. I argue that About This is a ciné-dispositive with an alternating current—a theoretical concept of visual technology approximated in the form of photopoetry book. In order to explain how Mayakovsky’s and Rodchenko’s avant-garde “suggestion apparatus” functions, I suggest us to look at the dialectics between the two media programs – textual and visual. A closer examination of their distinct takes on everyday life (быт) makes it possible to illuminate the dialectical relationship between Maiakovskii’s verses and Rodchenko’s photomontages in About This.

Traduction collaborative : Un nuage en pantalon
Sur certains passages choisis d’une nouvelle traduction d'Un Nuage en pantalon, réalisée par Elena Bagno et Valentina Chepiga, nous montrerons le travail de traduction en processus in vitro : quelles contraintes et quelles facilités présentent une co-traduction ? Quels sont les choix de traducteur imposés par un texte poétique en langue russe ? Nous évoquerons également les principes d’une traduction collaborative.

Le rôle de la recherche littéraire pour la traduction
Le but est de démontrer que la traduction d'un poème nécessite d'avoir une connaissance approfondie de sa charge intertextuelle. Cette idée sera illustrée par l'exemple du poème de Maïakovski "Сергею Есенину" ("Вы ушли, как говорится, в мир иной..."). Pour le traduire, il faut avoir une très bonne connaissance de ses relations avec le dernier poème d'Essénine ("До свиданья, друг мой, до свиданья..."); il faut également bien connaître le poème de Tsvetaeva "Маяковскому" ("Советским вельможей, при полном Синоде...") - tout ce microcosme d'échanges poétiques à trois, chargé d'intertextualité et d'interactivité. Cette intervention sera également l'occasion de montrer de quelle façon chez Maïakovski la vie réelle fait constamment irruption dans la création poétique.
